Supporting Our Community: Wild Trappers Sponsors sCAREcrows For Kids!

At Wild Trappers, we’re proud to be more than a local wildlife control company — we’re an active part of our Cherokee County community. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our sponsorship of The Children’s Haven’s annual sCAREcrows For Kids event!

This fun, family-friendly competition brings together local businesses, organizations, and families to raise funds and awareness for one of the most important causes in our area — supporting children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

Meet Our Scarecrow: Pleakley & Stitch!

This year, we’ve joined the festivities with a creative and playful scarecrow display featuring the beloved Disney characters Pleakley and Stitch!

You can find our display at The Mill on Etowah in Canton, right outside Reformation Brewery. Take a fall stroll through the display area, enjoy all the unique scarecrows, and get in the spirit of the season!

And don’t miss out — Trapper Dave will be releasing and giving away Stitch at The Jack O’Lantern Jamboree on October 25, 2025! 🎃

Why We Support The Children’s Haven

While the scarecrows bring the fun, the heart of this event is The Children’s Haven, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to promote the health and happiness of children impacted by abuse and neglect right here in Cherokee County.

Their programs help ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow up in a safe, stable, and nurturing environment. From improving educational outcomes to supporting emotional well-being, The Children’s Haven works every day to build brighter futures for local kids.
